Lot 120 - Trio Of Antique Green's Patent "Arctic" Spring-Loaded Candle Lamp Holders, 7-3/8" H Each

Grouping of three antique Tree of Green's Patent "Arctic" candle lamp holders, patented September 1, 1896. These spring-loaded candle holders were originally intended for use with a gimbal aboard ships, utilizing an internal spring mechanism that advances the candle upward as it burns. Each example features a spring base designed to clip into the holes of traditional candle lamps.

Surface wear, oxidation, and handling wear are present throughout, consistent with age and use. One holder exhibits damage to the lower spring at the base. All three are offered together as found.
