We have managed to secure an incredibly small allocation of the Limited edition Tequila Fortaleza Winter Blend 2019. Only 5184 bottles produced with the vast majority going to the United States. Master distiller Guillermo Suaza, has once again shown his incredible skill and knack for tequila making by blending 6 month reposado aged in American whiskey barrels with 11 month new French oak reposado. The result is a stunning display of sweet and spice.
TASTE: Creamy mouthfeel with notes of cooked agave, a heavy dose of vanilla, toasted oak, tellicherry peppercorns, green bell peppers, citrus (grapefruit, lemon oil, orange zest), mint extract (peppermint, spearmint), cinnamon, and caramel. Finish is long and lingering with a ton of vanilla, pepper, and mint. Agave syrup and more cinnamon, caramel. A hint of milk chocolate.
BARREL: 6 months American Oak, 11 months new French Oak
