For its 140th anniversary, Seiko has chosen to commemorate several aspects simultaneously. First, is the unspoiled nature of Iriomote Island, a sparsely populated island in Okinawa Prefecture known for its immaculate diving locales and rich fauna. Imagining oneself in this verdant setting, it is easy to visualize Seiko’s second source of inspiration – the “morning twilight of early dawn” as a new day rises on the horizon. These scenes are captured in the deep green of the SSC807 and its cousins, the SPB207 and SLA047.
