It’s a Stifle variant and can get a lot of different permanents, from fetch lands to Thran Dynamo, and prevent a planeswalker's loyalty ability

It doesn’t do much immediately, but it sets up an explosive follow-up, allowing you to storm again or refill your hand

It was definitely fun for me to revisit it

Thanks to some of the deck's other cards ramping out lands early, this build could start producing an unending army of zombies as early as turn four

With it, you can basically use your graveyard as your second-hand since they have escape

Mycosynth Golem Mycosynth Golem’s one of the more restrictive cards here since it only affects artifact creatures, but I can get behind a free—or almost free—Cityscape Leveler or Phyrexian Triniform, especially considering how easily affinity powers this golem out

Treebeard makes the perfect Host for most of these counters since he packs natural evasion in trample and protection in ward two, allowing for a pseudo-Voltron approach if you don’t want to go wide on the board

Brainstealer Dragon I’m enjoying this look at black we’ve had since the Dungeons & Dragons sets started, with plenty of alternate win conditions

Sloppity Bilepiper is both incredibly fun to say, and has an extremely fun ability
