Paramount Style-B Tenor Banco c. 1920s

Nicely preserved Paramount Style-B from back in the day.  We rarely find them needing no set-up, but this one just came ready to play.  The original skin head remains tight and the action is low and comfortable and the tone is clear and pleasing.  All the lovely inlay on the neck and head stock remain intact and look beautiful and the original (and rather unique) geared tuners are holding tune nicely.  The whole instrument feels nicely solid, Aside from some minor tarnish and scuffs here and there as would be expected and a small amount of play-wear, this banjo seems largely undiminished by time.  Two added bonuses:  It has a plunger type mute near the heel that functions and an original case with built in velvet cover with all latches working.  A truly rare find.
