Onannon Pinot Gris 2024

Onannon is a partnership of 3 gun winemakers - Sam Middleton, Kaspar Hermann and Will Byron. They formed a friendship whilst working working at various Yarra Valley wineries.

Sam is of course the winemaker at family operation Mount Mary. Kaspar has worked at Coldstream Hills, Diamond Valley and Seville estate, whilst Will has worked just about everywhere (Coldstream, Maude in Otago, Stonier, Brokenwood and various Burgundy producers. It short a lifetime of diversity and experience here!

No light tough here and heaps of complexity. Barrel fermented and lees stirring drives honey, cream, palate weight and there's a wonderfully nutty, savoury finish.
