When Darksteel Hydra enters, conjure a card named Darksteel Ingot and a card named Darksteel Plate into your hand

For just 3RR, this Dragon had hard-hitting, efficient stats as a 5/5 with flying and haste, but what made it a true mythic rare was its formidable enter-the-battlefield effect

While it does the usual ‘when this creature dies, return it to the battlefield,’ it also deals one damage to each opponent, which is a neat little twist

This update to Amass does open the door to it appearing in more places than it had before – while Orcs existed in Magic already, they were pretty scarce relative to the more prevalent goblins, and the old version of amass required a zombie-heavy setting

You can move characters to locations and take bonuses when doing that

High Fae Trickster is a Vedalken Orrery that’s also a 4/2 flying faerie, with flash no less

Even without Corrupted, this would be a very nice removal spell – so, the fact that this will be able to remove anything by the mid-to-late game in most Black decks is great

These you can use to craft any card of the same rarity

And while we’re on the topic of paying the one

Mother Gothel, Withered and Wicked Damaged but formidable Rapunzel’s tyrannical adoptive mother doesn’t look like she’s having a great time on this card, as she rapidly ages into a pile of dust

In an Illumineer’s Trove you get a soft cardboard card storage box with two lanes, some beautiful card dividers for each colour, a Lore Counter, and six glittery yellow dice with red numbering for tracking damage

The fact that you can give bounty counters to planeswalkers is just gravy
