Lone Star Stranger
Lone Star Stranger
The Lone Star Stranger is a treble boost circuit inspired by the Diaz Texas Ranger, built by Cesar Diaz, the legendary builder and tech responsible for pedals and amplifiers made for the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carlos Santana, Warren Haynes, Philip Sayce and more. Designed to deliver everything from a subtle boost to a gritty, aggressive overdrive to almost fuzz response with a three way tone shift knob to dial in to the guitar and type of pickups being used. Great clean up with your guitar’s volume knob to go from a crunchy overdrive almost fuzz like response down to a chimey, glassy clean tone.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
- NTE123AP silicon transistor has nice stable performance even in hotter temperatures.
- Handbuilt with premium components for durability.
- True Bypass switching.
- High quality multi layer PCB for durability and minimal noise floor.
CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS:

HI MID LOW: Controls the tonal mid shift of the circuit. LOW setting being great for single coils for example and HI working quite nicely with humbuckers.
BYPASS FOOTSWITCH: Utilizes True bypass to bypass the effect.

Standard 9v 2.1mm center negative DC power jack (use a 9v isolated Power Supply only!)
