Fender 1984-87 MIJ Precision P-Bass 32 inch Medium Scale 80s Japan White 66264

This is a 1984-87 E series Fender Precision Bass, made in Japan in white. The finish is yellowing to a creme color with time. Also, it has many marks and is definitely a natural relic at this point. All original except for some EMG pickups and black knobs. It sounds amazing and plays like butter. I really don't want to sell this and have been hanging onto it cause it plays so much easier than my full scale P-bass. (I'm a guitar dealer and have held this one for several years for myself--that tells you it's a nice one). The 32" scale means just a bit smaller than your Standard P-bass, and it really makes getting around the fretboard a joy. Super dark rosewood board. Frets are still in good condition. No deep grooves or marks. Just standard playing wear. There really is no substitute for this 32" scale and I will miss this bass as soon as it's gone. These are VERY hard to find. Made in the 80s by FujiGen with legendary Japanese build quality. Weight is a very trim 7 pounds, 13 ounces. All our setups are done by our in-house trained luthier. Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Basses get the same treatment minus the string change. Thanks!

I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments).
