FBF Flamingo Chill Sock

The American Flamingo is a very social bird. It stays within its group travelling from the north to the south and then to the Caribbean to breed. They build a small looking mud volcano that holds one egg. When it hatches the chicks go to the nursery to be watched over by the chosen watchers. Adults fly for food sometimes over 50 miles from the nesting site. They eat invertebrates by filtering sea water with their bills.
