Dual Remote Bypass Oil Filter System (6.5 Turbo Diesel)

Kit includes:

• High flow and bypass oil  filters
• Filter mount and bracket
• Oil lines and adapter

This kit is specifically designed for H1/HMMWV 6.5l Turbo diesels only. This kit will not work with NA engines. (See NA bypass filter Part #NAB90)
As with any engine and especially diesels the name of the game is to keep it clean and keep it lubricated. If nothing else keeping the oil and cooling systems clean and your vehicle will last a very long time. 

The Bypass Oil Filter provides the best possible filtration protection against wear and oil degradation. Working in conjunction with the engine's full-flow oil filter, the Bypass Filter operates by filtering oil on a "partial-flow" basis.

It draws approximately 10 percent of the oil pump's capacity at any one time and traps the extremely small (2 microns),  wear-causing contaminants that full-flow filters can't remove. In addition adding capacity to your system. 

The Bypass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil.
