Salvaged 1950s CCP Naval Bulkhead Light with Holophane Glass

A proper naval bulkhead from the 1950s, salvaged from a decommissioned vessel and built to withstand life at sea.

The cast aluminium housing clamps around a thick Holophane-style prismatic glass lens, creating the distinctive ribbed appearance that made these fittings a staple of ships, dockyards and industrial facilities throughout the twentieth century. The glass isn't just decorative. Its precision moulded prisms were designed to spread light evenly while reducing glare, making these fittings both practical and beautiful.
