This spider is the real \u003cem\u003ePhormictopus\u003c\/em\u003e cautus from Cuba. This reddish-maroon colored spider should be kept like others in the genus, in a typical tropical terrestrial type set up. This a smaller species of the genus \u003cem\u003ePhormictopus\u003c\/em\u003e only reaching a little more than 5 inches or so as adults. An uncommon species and difficult to find authentic ones from Cuba. This species has yet to be bred in the USA as of 2025 making them a great breeding project. These are well started and starting to show great color!
