These barrels were crafted from \u003cstrong\u003eJaqueira wood\u003c\/strong\u003e, also known as jackfruit, a tropical wood renowned for its rich flavor characteristics.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis high-rye bourbon underwent a meticulous aging process, starting with 4 years and 7 months in its original barrel. It was then transferred to a Char 5 oak barrel for 10 months before entering the medium-toasted Jaqueira barrel from a Brazilian cooperage. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNULU initially planned to label this expression as \"Triple Oaked.\" However, due to issues with TTB approval for the \"Triple Oaked\" denomination, they opted for the previously approved \"Double Oak\" label. This choice does not diminish the fact that this bourbon is indeed a triple-oaked expression, showcasing a complex flavor profile.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter sampling this exceptional bourbon, we were instantly drawn to its complex flavor profile.
